With Honor // Boundless

Label // Pure Noise Records

5 out of 5 high fives

With Honor last released an album in 2005 and if you would have asked me the odds that the next ablum the would release 18 years later would have the same fire, I would say very low. And I would have been wrong...so wrong.

This ablum is full of raw energy, they type of energy that you rarely only see on a bands initial release. On the "Boundless" album we find With Honor pushing their sound, finding new vocal dimentions that feel new and yet right at home.

With Honor have delivered a gem on this ablum. Striking a perfect balance of thier trademark sound along with enough new bits to keep you at full attention. The production quality on this ablum is spot on, doing full justices to the dutiful musicianship.

The lyrical content of "Boundless" deliver the energetic sincerity and heart that we have come to expect from a With Honor album. "Rank and File" offers up the perspective that comes with a couple more dedaces of experience in the rearview. Vocalist Todd Mackey wrotes about dealing with truth and love above all.

"Love is All" addresses head on dealing with the false dichotomies often offered by life. For a deeper dive into the lrycal content of the album, check out the interview Posicore was able to do with Todd Mackey here
